Wiring question?

The overflow resovoir is supposed to have some water in it when its cold. There is a mark on the bottle for this, if you still have a light when filled to the cold line then the sender is probably toast. Mine is acting up again. Last fix I got one from a junkyard, don't know the price of a new one. Its supposed to catch the overflow during extreme driving conditions like desert etc. When the motor cools down it draws the water back in the radiator via vacuum. If the bolltle fills up as your driving like mine used to just driving 20 miles then its a sure sign that the head gasket it gone.

The little light went off but now I have a new problem. When I put my car in neutraul the car revs itself to 2000RPM's. And when I put it in drive it feels like its accelerated a little. What can this be?
