Exclamation Whats Wrong? Idles Like Nascar

My 86.5 MKIII idles from just under a grand all the way to over 2200 rpm and I cant seem to get it running right. I changed the fuel pump, ecu, fixed a vacuum leak and now its throwing codes for some sensors. Anybody have any experience with this? I am not personally doing any of the work and don't know which codes the ecu is shooting but can find find out. ISC? TPS? I have no mods done other than K&N filter kit and a aftermarket muffler stock piping. Oh an my mechanic said that it seems to be dying now. I've read about the ISC causing erratic idle but how do you test it? I've owned nothing but Hondas up until my MKIII and its driving me a little nuts. Oh and its a 7mge. Also could this be caused by my radiator being filthy?

Another problem I ran into was that with an aftermarket filter kit, the cooling fan can blow into the intake area around and into the filter causing an erratic idle. I moved it further forward and out of the fans airflow and it cured my problem. The ISC can be a problem too, but the filter should have a shield around it if it is just stuck on the end or the AFM like mine is.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
