electronic controlled transmission... that's what it stands for, and that's all i know about it. i have a manual gearbox. maybe it has something to do with the lock-up converter.

It modifies your shift points for a more "Sportier" setup. I don't really know how much of a diff. it actually makes. When my car had an Auto trans...I just ran w/ it in Sport mode all the time.
