Default Change the climate cntrl color?

Has anyone changed the color of the climate control unit from green to another color? I really want to change my dash from green to something else (not that i dont like green) and want to change the climate control as well so it matches. Its not a big deal, i was just curious.

Along with this would be the iginition light.

Thanks!

Pretty easy. I havent looked into doing the climate control yet. But people do offer to do it on a different supra forum. $60 for red. And $80 for white Just send him your unit and you'll get it back with a different color. I personally want to find a way to change the green on the clock. Cant find a way for it.

You know fellas, I just sold my gauge cluster and it would have been so easy ot change the lights on those.
10 seconds takes care of all of them if laid out. heheh

I do have my climate control still.
Maybe I will go get that and see how that would be like.
Take pics of it and maybe do a write up...
That would be later though.

well i know how to change the color of the gauges. Thats pretty straight forward and simple. The ignition and climate control on the other hand I havent really looked at. I have no problem opening mine up and checking but why damage it if someone has already done it and knows exactly what to do. But glad to hear it's possible.

There are bulbs behind each button, and they pop off. Also, behind each square plastic marker there is a bulb, just match voltage to an LED and solder away, no problem, doing mine blue. Be sure to get wide pattern LEDs.

I saw someone with a signature the other day that had blue climate control buttons. I want to do mine red, or maybe blue. Does anyone know what that guys name is? I keep looking and I am having no luck, he said something about pm'ing him about the climate color.

Well it can be done, granted I haven't taken apart the clock assembly but you do the same thing as what that person does to change the climate control number color, you just get a readout that is the same size and has the same pins on it, then replace it with the new one.

I though about doing this but finding a electronics store around here that has little tid-bits like that is a hard find. Good luck to everyone though!!
