I find an easy rule of thumb to follow is that if the car is off and it still wont go into gear, the trannys probably about toast.
If its only hard to put into gear while the car is on, then its probably just a clutch issue. And I couldn't justify buying a car for that much if the tranny needs to be pulled for whatever reason. Just me, though. |
