The biggest difference that the MKIII went through was in 1989.
In '89 the front bumper, tail lights, spoiler, fog lights, front grills, front lip, mirrors, and many interior parts changed. 1986.5 Supras did not have a wing because they were only NA's (in the States not turbos, at least). For the most part, the old syle MKIII's are 1986.5-88 Newer style is 1989-92 In 1991-92, the wheels became 5 spokes to replace the sawblades, and the exterior moldings matched the color of the exterior paint.
