Where would I go for a rebuilt motor in Australia?

What do they cost?

depends how far you wanna go with a rebuild
generally people pay around 7-9k for the rebuild

don't bother
better pick up low km's 89+ 7mgte and rebuild that one if desired.
bare motor will cost you around 1000-1500 aud
