It likely can be helicoiled. When I was at the dealer, I used a threaded metal insert called 'keensert'. They work better than helicoil, as they won't ever come out with the spark plug. I've gone to do a tune up on a car that had been helicoiled, and the coil came out with the plug.
There are other better helicoils now, that are not supposed to come out. There was a thread on them here, or on supramania forums. |
