Sorry pal, but it will probably be expensive. I bought an 89 Supra and looked all over New Jersey's junkyard paradise without luck. I wound up spending a little under what you quoted. I still needed a hood, and dontcha know, I find an 88 in the junkyard in my town, right under my nose all the time, I could have saved a bundle. I bought the hood for $65 but when I went back to check for more parts the guy tells me he crushed it! ARRRGGGHH! Who crushes a Supra? Anyway, if you can develop a relationship with a reliable dealer, and you spend some big bucks initially and tell the guy you will be back for more, you may do like I did and find a nice guy to give you discounts. I now get 15% off every purchase because I go to the same guy every time. Shop around and find someone you can develop some loyalty with. It may pay off. And aftermarket parts aren't always cheaper.
Sincerely, James in NJ |
