Exclamation custom intake manifold

has anyone heard of or seen a custom intake manifold where the ic pipes come out of the ic and go on the intake side of the motor? kinda like supra girls intake job but the mani isnt a T type. its like the 2jz intake. just wondering cause i really dislike how the ic piping goes across the engine and i just wanna drool over the possibilities...

Default i bought one

i have a custom frontside intake now i ll take some pic stommorrow of it, all u do is remove your stock intake and make a block off plate for your original throtlle body mount, then cut a hole in the frontside of your intake up near your alternator put in at least a 2.75 in tube so u can put a sillicone tube u then have to make a tube with a plate that u can mount your throttlebody to u will have to drop your alt and make a new brkt and get a new belt u will also have to extend your throttle cable to accomodate the new position of throttlebodydid that help u at all,i have to still finish putting it in i have all the parts just havn t finished finishing everything to a mirror finish

Default i m still ginding and polishing

i ll take apic of the accual intake and show u i m still grinding ,the guy that i bought it froms welds he looks like he was a neewbi ,but when i m done it will be sweet he had it on his car and gave me some of the info i needed like the throttle cable and a few other things but it s prettty obvious that the alt has to drop and u definatly have to relocate the battery so u can reroute your ic pipes there is a definate benifate of this cause u eliminate about 6 to 8 feet of ic pipe and there is way less clutter of the engine bay so good luck on the new ideas
