My manifold is an off brand from ssautochrome.com, it holds a t/4 or larger turbo and has a 4" wg flange, ss and ported and polished. with the support tabs welded in this thing and the flange size, i never had a problem with cracking, ive used this manifold on my first 2 high hp 7m's. I've never heard of 7mpower.com, i recently started going on line to see if there are any updated parts or software for this engine, im trying for 800hp reliably for racing, its gotta live. up till now, i used my dealership and track connections for my parts and info. the first two, the cars were totalled at the track, so im building my third with a few changes. my car is not what you call street leagal, i mean, i can drive it on the street if only i know where all the cops are at that time, i race it at Mid Ohio sports track against vetts, porche's, beemers, so its not as nice looking as the ones on 7mpower. cant seem to keep them rookie drivers from hitting me. You are right about needing a larger dp with a new manifold, but, you were gonna get one anyway. the header style manifold really cuts the turbo lag bigtime, so even with 8psi, it feels like 14psi instantaniously.

ya im not going for massive power as of yet, the block is still stock so i dont want to exceed 400hp anytime soon and break it... and i want to keep this ct-26 for now and im not sure ive seen a header that uses the ct-26?

with your numbers, it sounds like you may have one of the fastest mk3's out there. certainly higher than any one at 7mpower although i have heard someone hit 800hp in vegas supra meet in a mk3 this year, but not sure who it was. thanks for the info... impressive...

with that amount of power toyota guru should be number 1 on that list, correct if im wrong, also as long as you have the dyno pull to prove you have that power you're on that list, but you both are pretty much right... but in two different aspects, guru is right in the racing aspect...where you want to make as much power possible under a budget but pretty much enough power for the track...an off-road vehicle in this sense, as for joel, he's out making a street machine and not interested in pounding at the track at the moment, though i would have to admit...if i were joel's position i would have done the same thing as he did, because to me it makes the most sense for streetability with teh stock turbine and teh stock block, but of course i got rid of all that decision making when i swapped in a 1jz

Default whew.

thank you supraman1784 , i may not have made that clear to the guru that i am making a street ripper and not a track racer. no plans for the track, autocross possably but the new things racing locally are the 125cc shifter karts and they look like alot of fun...

yeah it does remind me of of my old v8 days a bit, its got a nice rumble to it under throttle. but idles quiet...

my buddy bought it for his 4oo hp 86 dodge shelby charger 2.2l and it was too loud for his rig so he gave it to me. so it may be too loud for my new 3" pipes. ill take a vid if i can figure out how to post it....my cam takes avi's??
