no, injectors just spray the amount of fuel needed into teh combustion chamber, theyre controlled by a solenoid which is pretty much controlled by the ecu...without going through all the sensors and whatnot, upgrading injectors gives you more capacity...meaning it has the ability to spray more fuel in teh to chamber and you max it out as easily...it has a higher limit

I put a Lexus AFM in my 89 7MGTE and its ran like hot stinky gasoline soaked ass. Stutering and almost stalling on the line, smelled like i was pumping straight gas out the tail pipe. Now lets not forget that when i stepped on it it F*****' flew but i was getting around 10 miles to the gallon. Needless to say i pulled it. But maybe i bought a bunk Lexus one. It was for a V8 LS400. Is that what you guys have heard to drop in?

Absolutely you could. The AFM is held on by 3 screws and a cable. DC the battery, DC the AFM, remove the EFI fuse, let sit(i've heard as long as 6 hours but i think thats unneccesary) to let the computer reboot, and then plug everything back in with the Lexus AFM installed. WWAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

kick ass. i believe that next spring i may make my 87 supra a twin turbo 7m to drag wiht and drive on special acasions. with out worrying about gas milage and stuff so i believe the afm will be a good buy.
