You are welcome. It seems that Toyota builds some very strong stuff, but you pay the price looking for aftermarket stuff because they are expensive. I think somewhere lately people have been posting horsepower ratings with the type engine, but it seems I have heard at least 500 reliable horses and maybe more with the 7M block.

The engine just has to built with a lot of care to make sure you don't blow a head gasket, but that is true with any engine looking at the kind of hp or more. These engines come stock with forged cranks and very tough and well built blocks. The pistons and rods are what needs to be changed with the high end hp. The heads seem to be up to it and with the correct fuel mixture and a good cooling system the high horsepower should be reliable too.

Do a search to find what can be had horsepower wise and what mods were done.
