yea i kinda thought that i didnt need a downpipe with an NA. but i had to ask on here to make sure first. i know for sure i am getting the headers and cat. i have to check the piping coming from the cat to see the condition of it. i will most likely change it anyways.

thanks guys

Look, the hot ticket is go to an exhaust or muffler shop and have them custom build from headers back, one smooth MANDREL BENT 3 or 2.5" set up depending on your application and HP goals. If you want to go ahead and keep the cat... or don't. Just depends on how through your smog shop is, or who you know there. Just make sure to have them install at least one flex fit section just past the headers, the steel braided mess you see on down pipes, this way the exhaust since isn't hanging on your red hot headers slowly bending them till they crack. =) Good luck.

Cool

Dearest Mr/Ms (whatever) kewlcoconut, its all very simple. Just click the back button 2x, scroll up to Supra Faqs, and click on Exhaust Systems Researched, and read the opening post.

A 'good' muffler shop can do it all for you. Good meaning that they are recommended by people that like their work. I have seen alot of crappy work, and especially the welds, from places like Midas, and others.

You may even have to go 'look' at some cars they've done. Good luck!!
Let us know what you end up doing, and how much it cost.
