It called the #3 valve cover gasket byt my toyota dealer. Cost $35. Dealer only part. 1 day order. It is there to keep debri and water from getting down around the spark plugs.
The 14mm allen head bolts come off easy enough. If you don't have the socket, you can make a tool with a 14mm head bolt and 2 nuts. Just put the 2 nuts onto the end of the bolt and 'lock' them together (double-nut), then put the 'head' into the allen bolt and use a box end wrench on the lower nut to unscrew the allen bolts. Going back on, they just need to be tight, not really 'torqued', as they only hold the gasket in place. |
