More often than not it's an issue with the switch.

Here's the body/chassis electrical section of the Toyota Service manual for the '91 Supra (most of it is the same from '89 through '93). http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar....aspx?S=BE&P=1

I have a 87 turbo with the same problem and i have been through the wiring twice and checked all the relays . Changed the light switch the rtr control box bypassed the theft system only thing i can figure out is the headlight relays is getting 12volts before it get to the switch i can't find it but instead of undoing ur batt .just take ur headlight relay out and that will cut ur headlights off every thing else will world as normal just remember to put it back in just for ur headlights urparking lights and brake lights will function fine without the headlight relay

Yea thanks I started to do that once I got thw new relay but question my efi relay gets really hot n like is shorting or something because if i push it don't or sligjtly move it, it buzzes or clicks, something of that sort n since the headlight relay is near maybe my wiring is messed up somewhere? I mean this car has many loose plugs n such. But was just wondering if those two may br hand in hand

The EFI normally gets hot on many cars including the MKIII... Most likely nothing's wrong there.

well should it buzz and click when being touched? i recently ran into a problem with the car starting and dieng right after so i replaced the spark plugs thinking itd fix the problem but that didnt fix it. but i dont know if the TPS is connected right or if the EFI relay would play a roll in it not running properly.

Have you checked for codes? you'll know if the TPS is out of calibration then.

Clicking/buzzing relays can be either bad relay or loose/dirty connections, maybe you could pull it out & check that it's terminals are clean and the ones it pushes into are tight first...

Do the headlights still stay on with the switch on the steering column unplugged? And if so, what about with the fuse taken out?
