For the price of a new set I wouldn't bother repairing a plug wire. How old are they?

Maybe a year but I went ahead and ordered some ngks to go with my new ngk plugs. It's just that its my dd and I didn't want to borrow a friends ride but I did so hopefully my idle issue will be fixed in a day or two. Thanks for the reply though.

Well, this one I can answer from my phone. :P Yes, you can buy replacement contacts from most specialty auto parts stores (try the local race shops) and then you'll need a pair of crimps. You can use the existing boots and the crimps and the contacts should come with instructions. Thanks for keeping the problem simple.
