high rpm and loss of power.

Well I feel that my supra isn't pushing enough being at a high rpm. I don't thnk its a woreed out clutch. When I shift the rpm speeds up a lot after around 2500. When I ease up on the gas it goes back down and kinda stays on a steady rpm and speed rise. And about the codes the check engine light is of but I was thinking maybe they disconected it or something
