Ignition Issue or Tranny?
Last couple of days (and not consistently, more randomly), I've noticed that while accelerating at around 20mph, 40mph, and 60mph the engine speed drops a bit and goes back up. The weird thing is it only does it in regular mode, not in sport mode.
I was wondering if I should look at some ignition issue (I was thinking spark plug wires) or the tranny. I've noticed it only happens at night, regardless of the engine being warm or cold. Never had it happen during the day.

automatic? you can run a tranny diagnostic.
on a side not. My car while letting off the idle will drop rpm's then pick back up and hold at 1.5k even with my foot off the throttle.. did this once or twice, freaked me right the hell out.

test your tps. i had a simliar problem on a 86 N/A changed tps and it stopped lurching all weird

I haven't ran any diagnostic. I came across a TPS problem before, only it idled erratically.
I'll look at the TPS. Thanks.
