There were two different revisions to the inner bezel.

The first used metal spring clips which were pretty much impossible to remove and re-use (they either broker or they broke the plastic tab they attach to on the bezel).... but they sure were secure. As far as I know you cannot purchase replacement clips and Toyota only sells the second revision bezels now (they're pretty inexpensive though).

The later revision just has plastic hooks molded in which function to grab where the former metal ones did... They hold fine until you've taken them off a couple times then the hook may start rounding off and the bezel may occasionally pop off when you close the door.

aaaah didnt not know there was a second revision....i assume mine is the 2nd? Basically on mine..there are 2 metal clips, and on both sides of the car, one of the clips are missing but i assume if i went to a toyota delaership the 2nd revision would still work properly until i remove them mutiple times like u said?

Um... yours, with the metal clips, are the original type. Yes, the 2nd revision, without metal clips, fit just fine.

Only a few dollars per side. With a discount I don't think I've paid more than $5 ea in the past.

Champion Toyota's website lists them at $5.60 ordered through their website at www.toyotaworld.com .

NOTE: looking in the EPC there is a different part number still listed for 86.5, so those may not be interchangeable... I do not know if they still have the metal clip design.
