Default 1987 Supra windscreen wipers

Does anyone know where I can buy replacements? Seems that all the suppliers claim a fit to this model year, but none have the two-screw fitting that attaches the wiper to the arm. Thanks

I must say I've never had a problem finding wipers that include the adapters but I suppose they're no longer just including them as you only need them once. I'd check amazon or ebay for just the adapters or ask if your local parts store can order a set.

The dealer still has wiper blades for the screw-on wiper arms. I just purchased wiper blades for my '88 at the local dealer here in Gwinnett Co. for about $10.81 apiece. The new blades are a re-design that includes a steel U-hook adapter that can be used for most aftermarket blades when these wear out.

The dealer had the driver's side blade and rear hatch blade in stock. I had to order the passenger side blade, and it's on back order. If it hasn't arrived by next Tues, I'll probably buy a blade in stock that is slightly smaller than original.

P.S. I hate those plastic adapters that come with the aftermarket blades. They always seem to be flimsy and just waiting to snap apart.

UPDATE: Well, the passenger side wiper was still back-ordered. I checked the part chart, and the factory replacement size was 500mm for drivers side (in-stock with the u-hook adapter) and 458mm for passengers side.

Well, they had a 450mm screw-on with the u-hook adapter on the wiper rack.

I figure the car will not miss the 8mm difference.

Parts guy cancelled the back order and swapped out the wiper for me.
