turbo questions..

cre, youre right about my experience for the most part, but only with american muscle engines like the 302, 351Cleveland and a few 454 Big blocks. im good mechanically but ive never even taken apart a six cylinder before. im trying to learn on it. its one of my buddies cars that hes selling me. its a hobby for me as i do heating and cooling as a career. i just wanna get a little bit better.. and as far as Honda engines go. i think the VTEC is extremely cool..just camming but its stilll nice. but thanks anyways cre for your oppinion and you too hyundia tiburan. ill think about it. maybe instead of turboing it i will find another way for higher performance.

There are no mods that will provide significant gains for a reasonable amount of money with the 7M-GE. Actually I have a few friends who've spent obscene amounts and have nothing to show for it that a stock GTE can't beat the crap out of with $300 in parts.... They've spent thousands (A couple are mechanics and one's a machinist, they're not paying any of that for labor).

Do as you like, naturally. There's a lot of good info on this site and I hope you'll find it of use; There's also some bad info here and there, if in doubt, ask.
