Whatever it is (out of 2 total options) the head is coming out at a minimum. But, I don't like doing a laborious job unless I'm sure I need to. From what you describe a basic compression test and checking the oil and coolant for contamination should tell you all you need to know. __________________ If something breaks or you need to contact a member of the administration please post HERE.
