There is no pressure in the accordion hose to blow out a plug. Find a bolt that fits in the opening tightly and put a hose clamp on it to seal it. The reason you want that closed is because it will pull in un metered air that will mess with the a/f ratio.

thanks i will try the bolt. I was also wondering if anyone could help me identify what these hoses are and where they are located. i cant seem to find them. I thought i knew where one went but i dont think its right.

yea i too would never use jbweld or rtv but i mean thought i would suggest it :-D lol

Well from my prospective i would say it's kind of pointless to suggest doing something that u would never do to your car.

Is that the kit from china? The hose quality doesn't look half bad in the pictures.
The inner diameter of the hose should help you find where it goes to. There are coolant hoses on the throttle body as well as the iac valve and turbo, see if any of those are a match.

Ok. I have to take off the whole intake basically to replace a hose in the back. I know 2 hoses that i wont be using because they were for to stock BOV.
