Damn, was really kinda hoping you'd respond that your shroud was mangled or missing.

How confident are you in your fan clutch? The fluid in them can leak out over time which prevents it from spinning up properly when you're idling.

Also, have you pressurized your coolant system to see if one of your hoses has a weak but not obviously blown area?

Forgive the questions, just trying to hit all the reasonable bases before you go digging into your radiator and water pump.

Maybe this will help...or scare you. It scares me..... to think of how many points of failure the cooling system on the 7MGTE has. Hope ya get it sorted out soon.

I know, but from my perspective every little bit is a gain, and as prone to overheating as these cars are I don't write any contributing factors off.

mmm I love coolant diagrams. I've replaced both hoses going to my heater valve assembly.. that 90 degree one is a pain.

You have probably already considered it but there may be a clog in the system. Im sure you have already checked to see if your coolant is moving through the system but you could try and run some radiator flush through just in case there is a minor clog that still allows some coolant to pass through.

Done all of that. The heater hoses have not been changed. I will take a llok there.

System seems somewhat hard to purge of all the air. Would be easier if there was a purge valve at the top of the radiator.

Thanks.
