That's your heater valve in the picture. I'm not sure about a GE, but in my GTE the top vacuum line goes to a vacuum pipe just behind and to the left of the main valve.

As mirage83 posted, that is the heater control valve and the VSV for it. The other vac line goes to the nipple an the back of the intake manifold. At least that is how mine is.

Could you post a picture of the line on the intake manifold? I dont have any more open valves to connect to. SO the small line runs to the vsv under the heater control and then the other line to the manifold correct? Thanks for all the help. I just installed a "new" 7MGE and finally got it running right now I just wanna make sure everything is connected to its right spot.

Just use a T and tap off another vacuum hose if you have no more open ports. My car has it going to a nipple on the back of the manifold facing the firewall.

I knew it, unfortunately that broke off during install. I will just tap into another system as you noted. Thanks for all the help!

This thread's rather confusing and unclear, IMO.... What do you need info on? The charcoal canister?
