Default Lots of white smoke

Ive read aorund that white smoke can be caused by anit freeze getting into the system, what if your not running anti freeze but straight water? Will water cause white smoke also?

yes, this will still cause white smoke, its simply some of the vapors of what is being burned in the combustion chamber, if this is happening in the cold weather during startup and goes away after warmup its just the warm air from the exhaust hitting the cold air and creating steam

thought so, its defently not cold out here, it smokes like CRAZY when I start it up tho, but it goes away in about 10 second or less, another thing to it takes a few key turns to get it started, maybe fuel is building up in the chambers when its turning over?

U may have a blown head gasket. So you could be losing compression causing hard starts or the water fouled out ur plugs and the spark ain't that hot no more so it does lite the gas Good

BHG is a good idea, best way to check that is to let the engine cool all the way down and remove the radiator cap, start engine and see if it bubbles as the engine warms up, if so gasket is bad or head is cracked, as for the hard startup, im having the same issue when its cold, i think it might either be a clogged fuel filter or a slight leak in the gas line causing the car to lose fuel pressure

are you sure its completely white? or a blueish white color. Also what does it smell like? coolant smells like a sickly sweat smell..
My idea is that perhaps your getting oil into your spark plugs and when it fires it's burning it off.
Now this can be caused by a multiple of reasons. Most of which im not really ready to get into. post back with the smell.
