soooo... mine (fig.1) is in different position because the engine is not set to TDC/compression stroke? it's about an inch off compared to shaeff's (fig. 2)

is this normal?

setting the crank to TDC will move it to the original position like in (fig.2) ?

(I appologize but I've never seen or worked with this kind of sensor before..)
