The pans are different for '91 and newer.... although I've no idea how. I have read some discussions about clearance problems though but I'm not sure if this is why. There is no difference between GE and GTE pans of the same generation.

Everyone's right about a Cressida pan not fitting... Neither the pan nor the pump will fit any year MKIII.

The pumps are different for GE and GTE.

Any 7M oil pan will fit any 7M.... the requisites are matching oil pump pickup and cross member... does that explain it better?

The oil pan from driftmotion is cheaper if you send them your own oil pan, so they can modify it. So with the new oil pan from driftmotion having 8 qts. should there be any reason to upgrade the oil pump as well??

true, but not by much in my opinion. and no, you shouldnt need a heavier duty oil pump with more capacity. although it wouldnt be a bad idea to shim the relief valve on the oil pump a few MM to bump the pressure at idle up a few psi.

and thanks cre, sorry if i was seeming, snoody lol...i was high spirited when i wrote that lol.
