hankook: korean for shi**y tire! kumhos arent bad, bridgestone hp550s arent bad, they have a 50k mile warranty, but they are heavy as shiz. michelins always kick ass, so do goodyear triple treads.

Hankook tires are not bad, I had some and they gripped great and lasted a while, especially considering how hard I drove with them. "To drift is to live."

Tires do have a big impact on handling but there are also other factors like old bushing and struts. My friend installed the bushings from driftmotion which are relatively cheap but a pain to install that made a nice improvement over 20+ years old ones.

Question handling problem

Hi!
Thanks everyone! I had changed all of the wishbone struts -rubbers ( ali)front and rear-both sides and both of the front lower wishbones several years earlier due to wandering and all that improved the handling greatly along with a replacement steering rack and new track arms .It's only VERY recently that the car has ever had this problem of rear -end wander and jumping to the right and this is what I am researching with everyones help. Having odd tyres all round is a start and I will be changing them very soon .The car came with Continental tyres all round originally but they have been slowly changed due to tyre wear. It's parked up at the moment -just too weird/wrong on the road to drive anywhere.
