Default T.E.M.S. Question

Hey yall, its been a while hows everyone doing?

Anywho, quick question about my TEMS.

Recently (within last 3 weeks) my TEMS have been acting up. All three lights will light up at normal driving and stay on for a good bit.

This is an on off problem, sometimes it does it some times it wont.

Operation is all normal, actuators do the normal switch and make thier little noise. Just all lights come on just cruising no high speed or hard turning or sudden stopping.

Any ideas? I read in the TSRM that the speed sensor circuit might be the problem but I do not know.

Thanks

Your problem has not come up before. Hope it does not on mine. You may have a wire shorting problem. Or a clitch in the computer. I don't believe you will find anyone here that will have an answer. You should join (or ask) on all the net forums to see if you get a responce.

Please keep us updated, as I'm sure it will happen to more of us as our cars age.

This will be a long 'check-out' to narrow down the cause.

Default I'm having the same problem!

I'm having the same problem on my 87' turbo. Have you found a solution?Have you done the auto to manual tranny swap on yours? have you ruled anything out? maybe we could figure this out for many others in the future!

Mine too, 1986 7MGE auto, all original. Mine does it when applying the breaks at over 40 MPH, not hard just touching the pedal and it lights all three, exceeding 72 MPH, and when in park revved up to 3500 RPM.
