Getting an 88, please advise for upgrades.

Hello everyone, I'm new to your forum and would like some of your opinions. I'm going to be getting a 88 NA auto this winter and would like some of your thoughts as to upgrading and modding. I currently have a 96 infiniti I30 and have done much to it but am looking forward to working with a more flexible platform. The car I am getting was sitting in a yard about a year ago and was bought by a TRD mechanic who completely redid the engine and transmission. The interior is great for the age of the car and the body is o.k. except for the front bumper and hood (Great excuse for a body kit I say!!). It will need paint as it has been in the TX sun for many years. I'd like this to be a show car eventually and have some plans but being new to Supras and to Toyota in general I'd like some suggestions on parts and companies if you could help out. First off, I know what I'd like for exhaust. I have the Greddy SP2 on my I30 and love it so I plan on the same for the Supra. Anyone recommend a downpipe? I'd also like some options for coilovers. I have JIC on my I30 and love them and would like them for the Supra but they are expensive. I'd like a drop but also a good ride. Any suggestions? Hope to chat with many of you sometime.
