Look into amsoil. I haven't used their oil yet but I have used their gear oil in my 6spd in my celica and it is the best yet. I really have not heard any bad about them.

Thanx for the info.......After watching those links I noticed the mobile 1 has a paper filter....I don't really like that idea but I found a video to the royal purple filter and it also looks like a good oil filter although I'm slightly worried about it's small capacity

From what I've read the medium of the Mobile One filter is very good quality and that it's very consistent... I generally run Wix or K&N.

Pennzoil Platinum and Pennzoil Ultimate are both excellent oils and have gained a LOT of acclaim on oil specific forums and information sites. You can get the big 5QT jugs from WalMart for a lot less than other boutique oils. Head over to Bobistheoilguy.com and look it up... you might also want to look up info on getting your oil tested instead of just blindly changing your oil whenever... it'll save you headache, money and let you know when something's wearing out in the engine. (I change my oil twice a year.)

Oh and 10W40 should be fine in your area but if you have any prolonged heat waves you could always step up to 20W50 for the summer time.
