supermania has a whole forum dedicated to driftmotion and their turbos.. check it out. dude. you wanna see a good power boost w/o spending alot. get a new inter cooler and your turbo. you will see a noticeable difference. then worry about your downpipe, injectors. and what not.

So I found one on driftmotion. It's a 2.5'' pipe kit. Good for 700whp. $395.. Seems like a good buy, I mean I am already dropping some change there. They seem to be a good source of quality equipment. |

Well, this month I can feel fortunate enough to be able to do all the upgrades.. By that I mean..
- Turbo CT26 50Trim Rebuilt from Drift Motion (Good for 375WHP, which is plenty) - 3'' Custom built down pipe - 2.5'' FMIC kit from Drift Motion (Good for 700WHP, more than I need) - AEM TrueBoost Gauge (This should be $1500 including the DP install by this local muffler shop) Next month is maintenance month.. Transmission, oil, and radiator fluid changes. |

you can find intercoolers off ebay. not much difference. there are about what. 4 or 5 different type of fin style design. find one thats in your budget. dont exactly have to go sperco replica.
our stock one is fine. the only reason i say replace it is because its old.. a new one will certainly allow you to feel a difference, that or a good cleaning of the old one.

intercoolers are the same across the board. their not, but they are.
Tube n fin design is the best surface to cooling ratio. but who gives a rats ass. unless your a hardcore track racer, its just abunch of smoke IMO. rated for 400hp should be enough to fit your needs man. save yourself 200 bucks. but hell if you have it to blow, save yourself 200 bucks and buy me something =)

Question.. So I have ordered the driftmotion CT26 57 trim turbo.. I looked at the trsm, it wanted me to do some pressure check on the turbo after I replace it.
Anyways, I need to just do a direct swap right? |
