Default 89 turn, wiper, light column (Combo switch) DIRECT SWAP TO 88 supra

If I explained it wrong then understand please that I am saying the thing behind the steering wheel. I have a perfect working 89 one. I need to know before I waste time popping it off and such if it is a direct swap with my current 88?

Again, I have an 88 part that will be swapped for an 89..

Will this work no problem? direct swap??

Thanks

Completely different parts according to the EPC. You could probably make it work but don't expect it to be plug and play.

Thanks, ya that sucks.. I don't want to tinker like that. Guess I will have to just sell off this perfectly good 89 one and find an 88 on ebay..

Thanks for you help..

Generally, 86.5 is compatible with MOST of 87.
87 is compatible with 88 (color and fabric option changes were made in '88, but that's not what we're worried about)
89 is compatible with 90
90 is compatible with MOST of 91
91 is compatible with MOST of 92 and 93

For the MOST part () though 86.5 through 88 is fine and 89 through 93 is fine... Also, these compatibility differences vary by market some depend on other factory options.
