The dealer in my area will cost, not only your first born, but will likely @#$% it up. Ask around, friends, work folks, trusted mechanics, shops that don't do transmissions. See where they say is a good, reasonable place to go.
Here there are about 10 trans shops, but most are very high priced, and only want to sell a complete overhaul. They figure, no matter what's wrong, an overhaul will cover it. We (my smog shop) send them to Miguel's because he is good, honest, reasonable priced, and will 'fix it' if it don't need a overhaul. |
