Rpm @ 60 mph??

When my head lights are on I get a higher RPM than when they are off. So i'm guessing my torque converter is locking up when my lights are off, and i can't lock up when lights are on. Weird.... This is cause by a rewire inside the dash that the previous owner did in this supra.

i think im having the same problem and i dont know whta it is or how to fix it so im just going to take it to the shop and have them deal with it

Check if your lock up solenoid is working. and the the continuity between the lock up solenoid connector with the A/T computer harness
