This will show you how to remove and reinstall it. I would also mark the position of the bolt with paint or something as it will help you to get the timing set right (or pretty close) after reinstalling. I definitely would check the timing afterward, just to make sure all is good. It's easy to be off a tooth after reinstalling. You can't really "mess up the engine". It will just run like crap, if at all, if it isn't installed correctly. If you remove the accordian hose, you should also check the oil pressure sender and the copper crush washer on the turbo oil line as you will have easy access to them. These are a couple other places that could possibly be leaking.
