MKIII stock performance - solution to silly problem - Page 2

Sooooo, i have had my supra for 3 weeks and was a little disappointed in the performance. I noticed the tranny did not kick down all that well when trying to get up and go. You may have seen a previous post. I just was not impressed with the acceleration.

Today I happened to reach down and noticed the floor mat was bunched up under the flippin gas pedal. Are you kidding me? I was only depressing a little over half throttle.

Today I have a new respect for the speed of the car, even if it is a 7MGE. LMAO. Unreal.

Now if I can fix the power steering leak for cheap I will be a happy camper.
