do you ever drive that?
|
Thank you for the compliments gentlemen.
The pictures dont show it, however, the paint is a gloss engine enamel. This is the second time I painted them white. The first time I used a standard gloss white paint which chiped with a slight touch. The engine enamel has held up well. The idea of polishing the raised areas is a good one. I considered it and decided since 2/3 of the covers are hidden, I didn't wish to spend the time. I admit, it is not a daily driver, but yes, I do drive it. It's garaged and covered, never driven in the winter, and I am very anal about keeping it detailed. |

http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...picture715.jpg http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...picture714.jpg Its not as good looking as it could be but 10 times better then it was. Since the 7mge valve cover markings are indented I painted the letters and then sanded the rest to bare metal. |
Cam cover pictures
Personally, I would like to see some more photo's.
Anyone else willing to share? |
