Suggestion
What I did was just use some after-market piping from a different car and fabricated my own it looks nice and Cre has seen my work; it's CAI and I have my cone filter behind my bumper with a shield on it to protect from direct splash or rain; now just have to fabricate a front diffuser to better protect it from puddles and find a piece of piping to fit in to replace my big sensor box.

if its a turbo.. your gonna get all the air you need anyhow. I would concentrate on bigger injectors / intercooler and turbo.. but if not.
its not really going to make a difference besides looking cool.
