1986.5 1987 Auto To Standard Conversion

So it really shouldn't Be to much of a problem? Thanks Man Oh I Forgot To Mention That IT Did Have An Engine Swamp To A 91 turbo And IDK How To Tell The Difference From A 1jz To A 2jz motor but I didn't really think the engine swamp couldn've been part of the problem??

erm the 91 7mgte with the w58 transmission had a 1jz in it?
lol id suggest getting the more robust transmission. anyhow ... with engine swaps there are still things "electronics" that need to be switched over.. like the ECU for example. engine harnesses for another.

what exactly happened to your turbo? most likely someone didn't rout a coolant line correctly and boom..

Personally, I would be interested in some details about the turbo "going out".
The transmission swap should not have been an attributor to the turbo failure.

I honestly don't know what happened to the turbo I'm not one to know much about that and I don't know to many shops around here that would be able to look into it. Some guy was telling me by converting the car I Pretty much F!#$ed Everything Up but others say it shouldn't be a problem that it might be a boost leak, ripped hose, worst case scenario that the turbo would need a rebuilt.

well if you took a non turbo motor and made it into a turbo (ed) motor then yea there is allot of things to do and do correctly. if you just "swapped" motors than its not so much labor intensive.
tell "some guy" to stfu.

erm. wost case scenario you have a catastrophic failure and your turbo explodes.
