Your knock sensors need re wired check the post knock sensor rewire.... very common problem on 7m. I did mine in about 3 hrs taken my time...again I can't post link cuz im on my cell phone still....just Google it and u will find step by step instructions.... ill post link later whn i get home if needed... oh and the knock sensor code doesn't store in your ecu it only comes on after your car has been running a minute.. I used my old plugs too I didn't buy new one BTW

It'll also give you a false code if you move the throttle, like revving it up... That's likely where your code 51 is from.

Also, when checking codes you do not start the engine. If it is blinking constantly with 1/4 second intervals, then there are no codes present.

Travis89Turbo, how did you gather the OP has a problem with the knock sensor/wiring when there is no knock sensor code present (code 52)?

OP, how much boost are you running? Are you referencing the stock boost gauge or an aftermarket gauge? I have not experienced it, but I agree with Travis89Turbo's first post, sounds like fuel cut

lol..
you guys ..

when i first read the post I thought Fuel cut. but at 2k rpms?

did you do any sort of mods.. like shimmed the waste gate..
stock ct26 turbo starts to spool right around 2.5 depending on throttle position..
are you boosting when you experience this "lag" if so what is your guage reading.. if is peaking and not slowly climbing i would lean twords you pushing to much boost and unshimm your wastegate or turn down your boost controller..
and don't be retarded when playing with your engine..

but if thats not the case.. post what information you have.

Brandon check out this link...http://www.supramania.com/forums/sho...dle-runs-rough
Have u messed with the tps?

I had a code 51 only whn my KS wiring was bad. I kno its not common but it has happened to others also I tried everything and finally someone said too try re wire so i did and it fixed it. more then likely he has the ac switch on.

he said he didnt receive a code till he turned the car on.. and moved the throttle. .. soo.
still check for boost leaks.

Do check for boost leaks but code 51 and 52 are not stored in the ecu they are real time codes so the only way to check them is if the car is on and running... but your right he shouldn't check it while reviving it up. He needs to take a drive with the jumper out and if the check light comes on go check the code while car is still running at idle. Don't shut the car off or the code will clear

Pull your EFI fuse, 15A in engine compartment fuse box. Leave the fuse out for a couple of minutes. This will clear loged codes, turning off the ignition will NOT clear codes.
Start the engine and go for a short drive. The ECU will go through a "learing process" for a short period of time.
Return home and check for codes again.
This will give you which code(s) are active and not loged. If you have codes, let the them run through two or three times to make sure you counted correctly.
Fuel cut @ 2400RPM, I doubt it.
Vacuum/boost leak is a posibility. However, if you have an active 51 code, most likely it is an issue with the throttle position sensor or wiring.
