Yeah you right, ill stick with tje r154 and keep the V as a spare. Can the r154 handle the engine? Yeah the engine would overheat on the highway and had other minor problemz before i took it to him, he just made it worst. |

I have no other choice green7m, its that or nothing. I work at the garage, so its no problem leaving stuff there. Since im going to be doing a swap instead of rebuilding, might as well go big.

i heard the cost of putting a 2jz into an mk3 was about the cost of buying a 1jz and a 2jz engine combined. maybe I would just look for an mk4.
the 7m is a platform for allot of power, keep in mind. there is also a guy here in the For sale section of the forum that has 1jz and 2jz front clips for sell. maybe look at his prices, probably work with you on the shipping and overall cost.

No way dude, maybe out there it is. I know the guys and since I could I pick it up myself, I'm getting a price of $2000 for the twin turbo vvti, clean with about 55,000miles imported.

I decided to go 2j, the guys that I'm taking it too said they could get me a clean 2j for 1800. The cost of the swap and labor will be 900 and they throwing in a free Dyno tune. As always, I'll post pics &/or videos.
