Royal Purple all the way and lukas gear oil for the tranny.

Nope. At normal operating temperature it's a 30w oil, no different than any other 30w. But when the engine is cold you WANT the oil thin to circulate better even at those lower temperatures, which is why the 0w is great for tight tolerance engines (like the 7M) when you first crank them. Less friction and wear at cooler, startup temps, yet a good normal ops temp viscosity as well.

Amsoil 5w30. Manufacture recommends changing amsoil every 7500 miles I do it at 5k. HOWEVER at 5k miles, what sold me was the oil isn't even broke down yet, it looks like your draining fresh oil.
I think tho that amsoil, royal purple are all comparable. Oh and I run lucasoil in the rear end and ps and amsoil in the tranny as well.

yea takes awhile to get through it but its defiantly educational. as for what type of oil i use.. whatever is on sale.. till my rebuild, if i ever get around to putting these parts on. lol
