Default need some timing info (searched)

i found what i need threw search except for 1 thing. yesturday i took out the distributer to change out the old O ring and i was in such a hurry i forgot to mark the distributer. what i need to know is where should the distributer be pointing a tdc?

If I remember right, If your now at TDC#1 there should be some notches on the gear dirve and you'll need to line those up to where the wheel is right on the sensor. Check your timmng.

are these the notches? and which lines up with which. I have the mark on the crank pulley lined up with 10 tdc

make sure to lock out the timming at the jumper.

Wait, you have it set at 10? BTDC while installing the distributor? When installing the dizzy, you're timing marks should be set at 0?, with the engine at TDC on the compression stroke. When you set your ignition timing, you will then rotate the dizzy until you're firing at 10? BTDC.

As FRISBEE said, don't forget to put the jumper wire in when you set the ignition timing

ok thanx, ill do that, since i just took the distibuter out and the never touched then cams everything is timed except the distibuter
