I've never seen a complete kit for a N/A-T with a 7M-GE. There's a lot more that needs to be done than just strapping a turbo and IC on.... and it's a pain in the @$$.

everyone is talking about these kits to upgrade your 7m to a 7mgte.. I didn't know this was even possible. sounds like some company is trying to advertise a "BOLT ON" kit for the 7m.

Ummm... those are all for MKIVs.... The 2JZ-GE is easier to turbo and better built.

the blocks are all the same whether its an ge or a gte. there are plugs for the oil return and other turbo essentials alrady in the ge block. i have no doubt that the task is daunting, but i wouldnt discourage anyone from doing it. you will need to do some work on your head. your exhaust valves wont like the turbo so you will need some work in your valve train. obviously you will need an intercooler, but there is roall kinds of room in front of the ac condenser. you will need a new exhaust manifold also (again, obviously). i wouldnt be discouraged. it will be an intense project that will leave you knowing worlds about your car. there is no need being rude to a guy for wanting to try

No, they are NOT
Quote:
GE's use only one central boss for ONE knock sensor in the middle of the block, the GTE uses two at the outer cylinders. The GTE has oil squirters and the GE is not machined for you to even add them. The GE does NOT have the bosses for the oil supply and return drilled... and then there are all the differences in components such as the oil pump, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulators, no oil cooler on the GE... Read up and then share... don't start just pumping out bad info. I wasn't ragging on him for his interest, just pointing out that there is a lot more to it than he thinks and there is no straight bolt on for it.
