Probably a little less than the stock CT26, but still a pretty safe bet if it's done by a competent shop.

The 54 and 57 trim both get excellent reviews... quick spooling and a lot more airflow. The increase in rotational mass in the 57 versus the 54 is said to be negligible and as such the 57 trim upgrade is what most shops and owners recommend.

allot of people in the supra community look to driftmotion.com for there rebuild or upgrade. I would tend to check locally first.

For an upgrade I'd go with someone I know has done a LOT of them... for a rebuild, shop locally (I'd talk to truck shops (industrial) about who they use, not local tuner shops).

ok sounds good. im kinda on a budget and my friend owns a shop close to where i live and he just came to check it out. he says its just barely beyond the point of a rebuild. so, in that case, what is a good place to shop for an oem supra ct26 turbo? Is ebay a good place or are all those ones for like $385.00 peices of junk?
such as this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Supra...Q5fAccessories

The new ones for $385 or whatever out of China are indeed pieces of junk you would want to stay away. Your best bet would be the "For Sale" forum here or on other Supra boards.
BTW, being "kinda on a budget" and owning a MkIII Supra aren't really compatible. |

so one more question about the turbo. when i was changing out the turbo i lost a bolt. it is the upper bolt that bolts the turbo stay (bracket, brace) thing to the exhaust housing. I need to know what size that bolt is because i lost it and i have it ghetto rigged to work.
thank you in advance
