Default Bypass Valve Venting To Atmosphere?

So i have a HKS Racing Bypass Valve on my Supra and was wondering if i could use it as a Blow Off Valve to get that "tsssssss" sound. I can hear it atm when it vents back into my intake but its sounds kinda silly. The only thing i'm stumped about is the two hoses that connect to it.
The top one goes from the manifold tee's into the bypass valve and then tee's into the external wastegate and then goes down into the engine block somewhere. (i think?)
The other one goes from the bottom of the bypass valve tee's back into the intercooler pipe then goes down into the same place where the other one ends.

If i just unplugged the end of it and plugged up the intake hole will it run fine? or will i need to buy an actual blow off valve?

Thanks

Dual port or dual reference BPVs and BOVs have a quicker response time. They've kind of disappeared these days though. The turbo Celicas and MR2s used them.

You're going to have trouble with anything that vents to atmosphere. Do some searching for more info, this has all been posted many, many times. Try searching vent and atmosphere.

Nice, they make an electrically controlled version.

These do work better as you don't suddenly go super rich when shifting.

With aftermarket fuel control devices you can tune for a BOV with pretty good results too.

Yeah I'd probably prefer a 50/50 because my turbo is quite big and takes awhile to spool up so that reduce turbo lag but also give me a nice sound. How much are fuel control devices?
