Thanks Ill let you know more when I take the DS down there to him. The guy said 150 if he can use my parts and 300 if he had to use all new parts. The only thing is at some point I plan to put a turbo motor and 5 speed trans in and dont want to have to do this again, on the other hand I got to drive it now with the setup I got and cant stand the thump that happens every time I shift and go into gear not to mention the viberations I get at certin RPMs. Ill do another search but nothing came up earlier when I did one. Maybe Ill try some other keywords

Each transmission uses a different drive shaft. You're not going to be able to use this one with either of the MKIII manual transmissions.



Just a note for those reading:
Another option, is to have the OEM drive shaft rebuilt with lighter tubing... still need a carrier bearing in that case, but there may be some inexpensive options available that way.
